FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) , the women business wing of FICCI is organising an interactive session titled ‘Breaking the Boundaries’ with golden girls of Indian cricket Mithali Raj and Jhulan Goswami on October 24, 2017 in New Delhi.

Former Indian cricket captain Rahul Dravid will be felicitating both Mithali Raj and Jhulan Goswami , who have led the Indian Cricket team to the finals of the World Cup 2017 and created a defining moment in the history of women’s cricket in during the session.

“ FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) is felicitating golden girls of cricket as it believes that successful women must be recognised not only because they deserve it , but also to encourage other women to face all odds and emerge victorious and confident on similar lines. It is especially true when Indian women are breaking all stereotypes and bringing laurels to our country in the field of cricket, which has been always considered as a male bastion.” Said Ms Vasvi Bharat Ram, President, FICCI Ladies Organisation

“ FLO believes that to achieve the holistic goal of women empowerment, more and more women need to engage in sports and equal opportunities should be created for them in this arena.” Said Ms Bharat Ram.

“ The felicitation of Two cricketers is being organised Under the aegis of FLO’s ‘WE Initiative’, which stands for Women Empowerment, the objective of this interactive session is to recognise the success stories of true achievers and provide a platform for women and youth, to be inspired by them. WE in Sports. i.e. Women Empowerment is Sports is the need of the hour. Besides all other initiatives such as WE in Education, WE in Tourism, WE in Services, FLO will continue working towards WE in Sports. Our endeavour is to stand powerful as an inspiring, empowering and impressive voice for change.” Added Ms Bharat Ram

Archana Vijaya, celebrity cricket presenter will moderate the session .
