Joy to the world! the Lord is come; No more let sins and sorrows grow, Let earth receive her King; Nor thorns infest the ground; Let every heart prepare him room, He comes to make His blessings flow And heaven and nature sing, Far as the curse is found, And heaven and nature sing, Far as the curse is found, And heaven, and heaven, and nature sing. Far as, far as, the curse is found.

Joy to the world! the Saviour reigns; He rules the world with truth and grace, Let men their songs employ; And makes the nations prove While fields and floods, rocks, hills, and plains The glories of His righteousness, Repeat the sounding joy, And wonders of His love, Repeat the sounding joy, And wonders of His love, Repeat, repeat the sounding joy. O Holy Night

O holy night! The stars are brightly shining, He knows our need, to our weakness is no stranger, It is the night of our dear Saviour’s birth. Behold your King! Before Him lowly bend! Long lay the world in sin and error pining, Behold your King, Before Him lowly bend! ‘Til He appear’d and the soul felt its worth. A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices, Truly He taught us to love one another; For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn. His law is love and His gospel is peace. Chains shall He break for the slave is our brother; Fall on your knees! O hear the angel voices! And in His name all oppression shall cease. O night divine, O night when Christ was born; O night divine, O night, O night Divine. Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we, Let all within us praise His holy name. Led by the light of Faith serenely beaming, Christ is the Lord! O praise His Name forever, With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand. His power and glory evermore proclaim. So led by light of a star sweetly gleaming, His power and glory evermore proclaim. Here come the wise men from Orient land. The King of Kings lay thus in lowly manger; In all our trials born to be our friend. Sleigh Ride

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer had a very shiny nose. And if you ever saw him, you would even say it glows.

All of the other reindeer used to laugh and call him names. They never let poor Rudolph join in any reindeer games.

Then one foggy Christmas Eve Santa came to say: “Rudolph with your nose so bright, won’t you guide my sleigh tonight?”

Then all the reindeer loved him as they shouted out with glee, Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, you’ll go down in history!

We Wish You a Merry Christmas

Jingle Bells

Dashing through the snow In a one-horse open sleigh A day or two ago Over the fields we go The story I must tell Laughing all the way. I went out on the snow Bells on bob-tail ring And on my back I fell; Making spirits bright A gent was riding by What fun it is to ride and sing In a one-horse open sleigh A sleighing song tonight. He laughed as there I sprawling lie But quickly drove away. Jingle bells, jingle bells, Jingle all the way. Oh what fun it is to ride Jingle bells, jingle bells, Jingle all the way. In a one-horse open sleigh, O Oh what fun it is to ride Jingle bells, jingle bells, Jingle all the way. In a one-horse open sleigh, O Oh what fun it is to ride Jingle bells, jingle bells, Jingle all the way. In a one-horse open sleigh. Oh what fun it is to ride In a one-horse open sleigh. A day or two ago I thought I’d take a ride Now the ground is white, And soon Miss Fanny Bright Go it while you’re young, Was seated by my side; Take the girls tonight The horse was lean and lank And sing this sleighing song. Misfortune seemed his lot, Just get a bob-tailed bay, We got into a drifted bank Two-forty for his speed, And there we got upsot. Then hitch him to an open sleigh And crack! You’ll take the lead Jingle bells, jingle bells Jingle all the way, Jingle bells, jingle bells, Jingle all the way. Oh what fun it is to ride Oh what fun it is to ride In a one-horse open sleigh, O In a one-horse open sleigh, O Jingle bells, jingle bells, Jingle all the way. Jingle bells, jingle bells, Jingle all the way. Oh what fun it is to ride Oh what fun it is to ride In a one-horse open sleigh. In a one-horse open sleigh. Good King Wenceslas

Good King Wenceslas looked out, Page and monarch, forth they went, on the Feast of Stephen, forth they went together; When the snow lay round about, Through the rude wind’s wild lament deep and crisp and even; and the bitter weather. Brightly shone the moon that night, tho’ the frost was cruel, “Sire, the night is darker now, When a poor man came in sight, and the wind blows stronger; gath’ring winter fuel. Fails my heart, I know not how; I can go no longer.” “Hither, page, and stand by me, “Mark my footsteps, good my page. if thou know’st it, telling, Tread thou in them boldly Yonder peasant, who is he? Thou shalt find the winter’s rage Where and what his dwelling?” freeze thy blood less coldly. “Sire, he lives a good league hence, underneath the mountain; ”In his master’s steps he trod, Right against the forest fence, where the snow lay dinted; by Saint Agnes’ fountain.” Heat was in the very sod which the saint had printed. “Bring me flesh, and bring me wine, Therefore, Christian men, be sure, bring me pine logs hither: wealth or rank possessing, Thou and I will see him dine, Ye who now will bless the poor, when we bear them thither.” shall yourselves find blessing. In The Bleak Midwinter

In the bleak mid-winter Enough for Him, whom angels Frosty wind made moan, Fall down before, Earth stood hard as iron, The ox and ass and camel Water like a stone; Which adore. Snow had fallen, snow on snow, Snow on snow, Angels and archangels In the bleak mid-winter May have gathered there, Long ago. Cherubim and seraphim Thronged the air, Our God, Heaven cannot hold Him But only His mother Nor earth sustain; In her maiden bliss, Heaven and earth shall flee away Worshipped the Beloved When He comes to reign: With a kiss. In the bleak mid-winter A stable-place sufficed What can I give Him, The Lord God Almighty, Poor as I am? Jesus Christ. If I were a shepherd I would bring a lamb, Enough for Him, whom cherubim If I were a wise man Worship night and day, I would do my part, A breastful of milk Yet what I can I give Him, And a mangerful of hay; Give my heart.
