Melbourne Renegades MELBOURNE STARS BIG BASH LEAGUE V JANUARY 1, 2019 ELBOURNE RENEGADES FACT SHEET M LIBRARY After a month of WBBL matches, the 2019 Big Bash League comes to the MCG today for five matches and possibly finals. Today’s game is the annual local “derby” between the Stars and Renegades at the MCG. This is becoming a permanent fixture in early January, played on the 10th in 2015, the 2nd in 2016, the 1st in 2017, and the 6th in 2018. The Stars this year are captained by Glenn Maxwell and coached by Stephen Fleming. The Renegades will be led by Aaron Finch and Andrew McDonald is their coach.
