How to order Make a note of your table number, choose your selection and place your order at the bar. Once your meal is cooked, our staff will bring your food over to you. Pre-concert dining & afternoon tea We are pleased to offer a more formal pre-concert dining experience: A 3-course meal for £19.95 per head; concert evenings, Monday to Saturday between 5pm and 7pm. Tables need to be reserved in advance. We also offer traditional afternoon tea following lunchtime concerts. Please see our performance brochure for dates. Afternoon tea is priced at £9.95 per head. Adolph Brodsky Our new restaurant is named after Russian violinist Adolph Brodsky (1851-1929), who succeeded Sir Charles Hallé as Principal of the Royal College of Music (RMCM).

During his early career in , , and New York, Brodsky was highly acclaimed by both Brahms and Tchaikovsky for his performances of their violin concertos. He came to Manchester in 1895 at the invitation of Sir Charles Hallé, to lead his orchestra and serve as Professor of Violin at the recently-founded RMCM, of which he later became the longest serving Principal. He immediately instituted the concerts, and continued to play a major part in the concert life of Manchester for many years.

In 1973 the RMCM merged with the Northern School of Music to form the Royal Northern College of Music and we are proud to honour the RNCM Restaurant, Bar & Grill with his name.
