She is supported by James Donald and Hugh Sinclair along with Lana Morris, Andrew Crawford and Michael Medwin. Trottie attracts the attention of some very well-bred admirers, including love-struck Lord Digby Landon who she marries, but is her heart really in it or is she still sweet on intrepid balloonist Sid Skinner? Sprinkled throughout with song and dance routines and lavish sets and costumes, Trottie True is a feast for the eyes and a humorous take on romance. The film contains a host of famous faces, including Hattie Jacques, Christopher Lee, Roger Moore and also Bill Owen, who features in an exclusive Talking Pictures interview before the film on Sunday.
