Dunbar Golf Club breathtaking layout of a Championship links. It is used as an Open Championship Qualifying Venue when the Open is played at Muirfield and all of the major Scottish Championships have been played here, The Scottish Amateur, Scottish Professional Championships, and Scottish Boys’ Championship. The British Ladies and the Ladies Home Internationals have also enjoyed Dunbar as a venue.

Gullane Golf Club Gullane Golf Club offers championship quality links golf courses with dramatic views across the Firth of Forth to Edinburgh and Fife. The three golf courses do not have names but simply numbers which reflect their age. Gullane No. 1 has a long history of hosting international Championship golf events and is an Open Championship Qualifying course. The No. 1 Course will be hosted local final qualifying for the Open in 2013 when the Championship is played at Muirfield. Gullane No.2 has also been used for Open Championship Qualifying and the Seniors Open Amateur. Gullane No.3, whilst being the shortest of the three golf courses, provides a challenge for golfers of all abilities.

Kilspindie has been host to an alternate Rydeer Cup with 12 man teams playing with pre-1930s hickory shafted clubs. Instituted in 1867, Kilspindie is reputed to be the 35th oldest golf club in the world. The charm of this 148 year-old is complemented by the warmth of its welcome.
Luffness New Golf Club Luffness New Golf Club was established in l894 when its course was designed by Old Tom Morris. A challenging traditional links course, recently lengthened and with a second par 5 hole introduced, is a host for qualifying rounds of the Open Championship.
Following a round at either Kilspindie or Luffness a tour and tasting at the nearby Glenkinchie Whisky distillery is strongly recommended.
