1. Ms. Richa Khurana Singh (National President, Holistic Wellness & Resorts Council – WICCI)

An Economics graduate from Delhi University, Richa’s career spanning over two decades has been a rich and interesting amalgamation of largely hospitality interspersed with brief spells of IT/ITES and Corporate Communication. While the large focus in her career has been with Sales and Marketing with brands of the Taj and Oberoi Hotels, she has also dabbled with the a start up in her last stint panning around 6 years with Treehouse Hotels, a mid-segment hotel company and was responsible for strategy growth of the brand as an Executive Vice President. This role also had her spearhead some key initiatives like HR and frontline training. She is fairly well networked in the hospitality space and understands how to work with well-established and start up brands. Besides this her other interests include work in Self-Empowerment, Holistic Wellness and Sustainability space and also enjoys writing blogs and articles. She is an advocate and practioner of Self work and Healing Modalities and is well entrenched in the space of Wellness and Healing with Life Coaches Richa’s career started as a Graduate Management Trainee with Taj Hotels in 1995 post which she handled multiple functions in sales at the Oberoi Hotels and later headed Treehouse Hotels. She is currently based out of Bengaluru and takes up freelance training assignments. She is a certified Reiki Level two practioner. 2. Dr. Supriya Himanshu ( National Vice President)

Dr. Supriya Himanshu, a seasoned lifestyle Journalist, sustainable blogger, and digital media consultant, has more than 15 years of media industry experience. She is currently working as a Consulting Editor with Transformative. Today. This is a health & wellness e-magazine that covers the healthcare sector and updates the readers with the latest information about healthcare, hospitals, policies, Covid stories, doctors, interviews, patient stories, sustainability in wellness, and more. Throughout the Pandemic, Dr. Supriya as a Consulting Editor did back-to-back Live Panel Discussion with doctors, surgeons, fitness experts, Healthcare CEOs. As a Moderator, she is a pro and engages the readers, viewers with the experts for a successful live session. In the past, she has worked with national and international media organizations like Media TransAsia, The Hindu, HT, Times of , Spenta Multimedia, TechPlusMedia, & Dainik Jagran, as Deputy Editor to freelance writer, respectively. Dr.Supriya also ventured into the education domain after gaining vast experience in media, and now works as a Visiting Faculty for Fashion Journalism & Communication at Amity University, Noida and JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi. 3. Ms. Shweta Jai Gupta ( National Council Member)

Shweta Jai Gupta is an MBA from Amity University and has around 20+ years of experience as a successful professional with corporate bigwigs like the Taj Group of Hotels, Nova Scotia Bank, The Oberoi Hotels and Aviva Life Insurance, before she started her own venture “Spa Hibiscus” (www.spahibiscusindia.com). Shweta started her career with the Taj Group of Hotels in Sales and Marketing in 1995, from where she moved to Bank of Nova Scotia, responsible for Private Banking. Shweta joined the Taj Group again as Sales Head for Conferences and Incentives and went on to win the Best Sales Person award for 4 consecutive years while she worked with them from 2000 to 2005. In 2006 Shweta joined to Aviva Life Insurance and had various roles as National Head for Corporate Insurance, and Head of Sales – Bancassurance- for Eastern India Region. She quit her corporate job in 2008 and decided to take a plunge in starting her own venture- Spa Hibiscus. Spa Hibiscus is now a 20 outlet chain and growing. Hibiscus also has a consultancy vertical which offers a complete range of services for wellness starting from concept design, space planning, layout and interiors, menu planning, product mix, manpower planning and selection et al, It also has a manufacturing unit at Haridwar, and has its own range of wellness products and also supplies hotel bath amenities. Spa Hibiscus has won many awards and has been recognized for their work by Asia Spa, Big Research and even the Chief Minister of Delhi – Ms. Sheila Dixit. Spa Hibiscus also conducts various corporate training related to wellness, health and beauty. Some of their clients include Radisson Hotel, Park Plaza Hotel, American Express, GE, Cairn India etc. Shweta lives in Delhi and has two children –Yashasvini aged 18 and Shaurya aged 12.

4. Ms. Sujaya Walia (National Council Member-Core group)

Sujaya Mohan Walia is a Management graduate in CRM from Symbiosis and has over two decades of experience in the corporate and public sector. Her rich professional experience span the Hotel industry, Training and Recruitment, Business Development and Client Servicing across large multinationals. After a rewarding stint across industry, her deep love and passion for natural living and Alchemy made her turn a passionate hobby into a more serious vocation . Purity is at the heart of everything she embarks upon and is the bedrock on which she founded Sue’s Yogi Kettle (SYK) in 2016. SYK Tisanes are 100% organic, caffeine-free, hand blended herbal infusions which revitalize both mind and body. A trained instructor and a certified NLP practitioner, Sujaya is also the founder at “On My Terms” a support platform for breast cancer patients. She has successfully trained under the able guidance of Lee Majewski while working with therapeutic Yoga for oncology patients at the famed Kaivalyadham Ashram near Pune. She has worked closely with Medanta & Max Hospitals to provide integrated health support to oncology patients. She has worked with SBI Insurance on various cancer advocacy and awareness initiatives at the national and rural levels. Ms. Urvashi Mehta (National Council Member)

Ms. Urvashi Mehta had worked with the Hospitality Industry for over 20 years, with leading brands like Ananda in the & Carnoustie & Wellness Resort in Kerala, I have been associated with Brand Positioning and Marketing of Wellness Resorts within India and all key global markets. My journey as an Entrepreneur began three years ago where I was consulting with Resorts like Atmantan, Pema Wellness & Fazlani Nature's Nest. Am also proudly associated with FICCI as a part of the committee member to increase Ayurveda Tourism to India.

Being proudly associated to an “all women platform" gives me immense pride and I will be happy to contribute and take ahead this association to greater heights and be keenly involved in all the initiatives.

6. Ms. Leena Sengupta (National Council Member-Core Group)

An alumni of the OCLD, my professional journey of 9 years with The Oberoi Group took me to various properties like The Oberoi Grand, Krishna Oberoi, Novotel Agra (then a part of the group), the Jazz Trident Khajuraho and the iconic The Oberoi New Delhi. I then moved to The Grand New Delhi as Executive Housekeeper for a year. Thereafter began a long journey with another iconic hotel of the country- J W Marriott, Mumbai. I worked in various capacities starting from Director of Services right up to heading the Rooms Operations of the Hotel. I have also had the privilege to work with Taj Palace New Delhi for a year as the Executive Housekeeper. In the last 5 years, I have been in Delhi where I was initially working with The Grand New Delhi as Director of Rooms and Head of Operations. 7. Ms. Sharmila Chand (National Council Member)

Sharmila Chand is a Senior Journalist, Author and Columnist, who has been contributing features for all the leading publications and newspapers. (She has authored a book called 'Cheers - 365 Cocktails and Mocktails by Om Books International. She is working on her next book. )

As a Journalist, her main interest has been writing on Wellness, Health, Travel and Food as she believes all these genres have a beautiful synergy. She travels and meets people who are making efforts towards creating a platform of Wellness and Healthy lifestyle so that she can write about their efforts.

Sharmila has also been a Speaker at forums related to Wellness. Last but not the least, She loves to teach, hence has been mentoring the youth as a Guest Faculty in various institutes.

8. Ms. Shaloo Dogra (National Council Member-Core Group)

Ms. Shaloo Dogra is Yogacharya and co-founder of Epicurean, a leading hospitality firm in India. She has a master’s degree in Yoga from and is a published author.

Shaloo learnt formal medications in 1993 and has since evolved into pure medications having experienced various, methods in Hinduism and Buddhism including Advaita Vendanta, Shunyata, Dzogchen, Mindfulness and stillness. She has explored perfect body alignments through lyengar Yoga, dynamic vinyasa flows, stillness oriented mindful yin yoga and mind/breath/muscle movements through iron Yoga.

Shaloo teached Hatha, vinyasa and therapeutic yoga and her clients range from cancer survivors, clinical depression patient to one’s with thyroid disorders, hypertension, diabetes and other lifestyle related diseases including obesity. She has worked with all ages groups. She delivers lectures on yoga scriptures and Advaita Vedanta as well. Shaloo has a yoga studio in DLF phase 1, Gurgaon. Ms. Prerna Kumar (National Council Member-Core Group)

Prerna Kumar is a chai-loving entrepreneur with a passion to promote healthy chai habits. She is extremely passionate about the holistic way of living and wishes to see more and more people following a holistic lifestyle. She has spent twenty years of her life in industries like Aviation, Hospitality, Training, Search and Recruitment. Have seen the stressful way of living for people at all levels. In the corporate life, her role was to bring calm to the chaos.

Archana Agarwal Post Graduate in Dietetics and Public Health Nutrition, Faculty of Medical Sciences, Delhi University-1985. Three Decades of Experience & Expertise in Dietary Support / Counselling for Treating Hormonal Imbalances n Infertility. Creating Meal Plan and Nutritional Guidelines During and After Cancer Treatments and its side Effects. Honorary Dietary consultant since 2013, with Breast Cancer Support Group at Max Patparganj / Bliss Foundation (By and for Cancer Warriors). Active and Extensive participation in Workshops, Seminars and Group Sessions for enlightening and empowering people with Knowledge of the role of good nutrition in preventing life style diseases especially Cancer and Hormonal Imbalances !! Even as I begin to pen down a brief Introduction about Myself both my heart and mind are full of many thoughts and Emotions!! When you talk about yourself it’s more often than not a reflection of how others perceive you. 11. Ms. Pragnya Wakhlu (National Council Member)

Pragnya founded Mousai India in 2009 after extensive experiments and research on the effects of sound and movement on the body-mind. Since 2009, Mousai has been facilitating transformative sound and movement workshops for AIDs patients, women, children ,schools and corporates .Mousai has been featured in the book “Inspiring Women to start Innovative Enterprises” and on Techstory India. Pragnya completed her advanced Indian sound healing course under the guidance of Indian sound healer Shruti Poddar where she learned about the ancient healing powers of Vedic sound and mantras and their effect on the human body-mind. She completed her Tibetan bowl practitioner certification under the guidance of Russian physicist Vladimir Skaska. She holds a Level 2 Certification from the ‘Training in Power ‘ Academy USA . Besides this, she is a certified Interplay Trainer(U.S.A) and is a member of the Creative Movement Therapy Association India. 12. Ms. Anuradha Gupta (National Council Member)

Anuradha, a passionate and earnest entrepreneur has created a niche for herself in the Food and Wellness industry in a relatively short span of time. She pursued Bachelors in Business Administration from Amity School of Business, Amity University, following which she went on to pursue Masters in Commerce from University of Delhi in 2010. An ardent follower and practitioner of Yoga, Ayurveda and spirituality from a very early age, she also learnt about the various new age healing modalities, epigenetics and the mind-body connection from both the Eastern and Western perspectives over the years. Finally, in 2017, she decided to get certification from University of Delhi in Yoga and Meditation. A home maker for 15 years, Shilpa joined her husband in 2013 and ever since she is actively involved in the functioning of the Finn. She has fomrnlatcd protection and enforcement strategics for diverse clicntclc and conducted search and seizure actions in different locations with the help of the local police and persons appointed by the Court. Shilpa is extrovert by nature and has an excessive love for nature especially plants and trees. She often goes to the community parks to plant trees which destresses her and brings her joy at all different levels. Shilpa is learning German and desires to achieve proficiency to read and speak in a few years.

14. Ms. Ritu Gupta (National Council Member)

Ritu, a name synonymous to Clarity, Love and Joy is a full-time Life Coach, Coaching on Clarity and Personal Excellence. A successful corporatier with over a decade of experience across industries as an HR professional, she took the leap of faith into the space of Holistic health and healing, at the peak of her career and has been a practicing coach since 2013. A Delhi University Gold medalist in Textiles and Home Space Design (2001), she went on to pursue her Masters in Management from IIT Roorkee (2003) and spent the next decade contributing significantly towards Organisation Development and Design across the country and overseas.

15. Ms. Chandrika Sahay (National Council Member-Core Group)

Chandrika Sahay is the Director and Principal Architect of Meraki Dezine. She was raised in Delhi and educated at Gyan Bharti school, and then earned her Bachelors in Architecture from M.S University in Baroda in 2002. She then worked at Urbane- The Design Workshop in New Delhi, and as a project architect at Somaya and Kalappa in Mumbai. After gaining crucial experience and expertise as an architect and an interior designer, she then decided it was time to start her own company. She hoped to bring something of her own, her passion for traditional Indian architecture and sustainable design, into her work.

She started her own company 2008 in Muscat, Oman, naming it Meraki Dezine. In Greek, Meraki means the soul, creativity, or love you put into something; the essence of yourself that is put into your work. Putting her knowledge and skills to practice, she began designing high-end homes and villas, as well as retail and hospitality establishments. Having had international exposure and having seen how an architecture firm works, Chandrika is able to direct all aspects of design, strategy, and quality. She manages all operations, including project management and client service. Chandrika started out small, but rapidly garnered both national and international acclaim. She was featured in The Muscat Daily in 2014 for her work on The Oman Heritage Gallery, and featured in several luxury and lifestyle magazines from the Gulf for designing the The Indus, a fine dining Indian restaurant located in The Royal Opera House, Oman’s premier venue for music, arts, and culture. She received acclaim for elegantly bringing together both Omani and Indian styles and customs, while keeping the design contemporary.

In 2016, she expanded her company, bringing it back home to India. She set up an office in Gurgaon, and since then she has worked on a variety of projects across India, ranging from high- end restaurants and houses, to schools, corporate offices, luxury retail stores, and hospitals. Now, Chandrika leads a team of brilliant and passionate architects. Several of her projects have been featured in newspapers and magazines, and have received acclaim and awards. The Hook, a restaurant and bar in sector 29, was featured in The Gurgaon Times and The Delhi Times for its striking Mediterranean design. The Mahajan Imaging Center in Gurgaon was featured in The Hindustan Times for its unique design which used colour and natural design, stepping away from the usual white, pallid manner in which a hospital is designed. Its also been featured in Surface Reporter, Indiaartanddesign. The clients were so pleased with the beautiful design and its ability to calm the nerves of anxious patients, that they commissioned three more imaging centers to be designed by her in Hauz Khas, Bali Nagar and Pusa. Her restaurant Flamboyante, has been featured on the television channel Zoom, the interiors of Forte Grand Pub and restaurant were featured in The Hindustan Times. She received The Best Retail Design Award from VMRD. Her work has also been published in the 100th issue of Pool Magazine, Surface Reporter, Signature Oman, and Y Magazine (Oman). She has shared her views on design and architecture on The Pool Show, Wade Asia, Kunskapsskolan, The Talk of Town, and ISDI. In 2020, Chandrika and Meraki Dezine are growing from strength to strength and taking on an even larger variety of projects. Each one is given a unique Meraki twist, making it striking and beautiful in its own way.

16. Ms. Sadhvi Ashwani (National Council Member)

Sadhavi, Co-Founder at Baba’s Beans is a young driven entrepreneur, working towards creating a sustainable impact on the growth and consumption of Indian Coffees. Baba's beans is a home grown Indian Coffee Label, an offspring of their burning passion for coffee. Since its inception; 7 years ago, Baba's Beans has been crafting ingenious encounters in the world of Indian Coffees. With a value chain designed on the imperative of delivering a quality lifestyle product to the domestic consumer. What started out as a B2B coffee label, went on to curate an array of customized coffee solutions for multiple verticals including coffee bars collaborations with hotels. With a keen interest in the agricultural potential of the Indian soil, Sadhavi has also Co-founded Farm Coordinates, their second initiative in the crop universe. Farm Coordinates is working towards a mission to revolutionize the way agricultural produce by small farms is grown, sourced and consumed. Farm Coordinates seeks to facilitate and advocate sustainable cultivation practices for an increased yield and an improved quality of the agricultural produce by integrating technology at multiple levels of farming and supply chain. Promoting traceability and information about the farm and erasing all distance between the farmer and the buyer. Sadhavi has completed her bachelors and master’s degree in Philosophy from Delhi University. She is an ardent reader and is passionate about writing, in the quest to keep cultivating her mind she nurtures her keen interest in social and political theories by teaching young individuals as (Visiting Faculty) an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Arts at FMG institute Noida. She is a diverse individual, who is professionally trained Bharatanatyam dancer, trained under Padmabhushan Guru Saroja Vaidya Nathan, she admires her craft and enjoys working with children and training them in this graceful Indian art form. 18) Aarrti Zaveri – National Council Member

“Unveiling myself, I express”

Aarrti Zaveri is a New Delhi Based multi-disciplinary artist. Her diversified works of art often derive from the study of change in the topography as a result of rapid growth and modernization, and reflect the impact of urbanization on our ecology. She expresses these in form of installations, sculptures, paintings, site-specific art works and video art. Overtime her artwork had been increasingly reflective and representation of what she perceives and feels while exploring various places, situations and meeting different people. Growing up in an industrial town she has lived between machines and nature. This dysfunctional relationship between the two is the route cause of her curiosities. Her works have been instrumental in germinating a conceptual process in her way of thinking and practice of her artistic oeuvre.

Winner of Seychelles Biennale 2017, Aarrti is associated with “Global Nomadic Art Project” in collaboration with YATOO; a Korean art organization. She is also an active member of the Artist in Nature International Network (AININ). She recently completed a Senior Fellowship Research Project from Government of India. 19) Neelanjana Singh - National Council Member

Neelanjana Singh - President of Indian Dietetics Association, Delhi Chapter (2015-2018) National Executive Member, IDA (2019-2021), Registered Dietician & Certified Diabetes Educator, Former President of Delhi University Women’s Association (2010-2015) Neelanjana Singh has over 30 years of extensive clinical experience having worked at AlIMS, PSRI Hospital, Sitaram Bharatiya Research Institute, Diabetes Foundation and the Heinz Nutri Life Clinic, Delhi. She been a weekly health columnist with the Indian Express for over three years and is a regular contributor on matters related to diet and health with several national dailies and the electronic media. Her weekly column ‘Health in a Bowl’ was featured in The Morning Standard. She has been featured in various television programs on health and wellness as an expert/ panellist. Her book on nutrition, Our Kid Eats Everything! (Hachette, 2015), has been widely acclaimed. Wellness guru says, “This book is a must for anyone interested in shaping the future of well-being”. She has also authored Why Should I Eat Healthy? (TERI Press 2018) , a self- help book for children. She has also co-authored the book Fight Cancer With Flavour. For patient awareness she has written booklets ’Healthy Eating in Diabetes’ and ‘Diet in Kidney Disease’. Her recent contributions have been in The Pink Book & The Orange Book, published by FSSAI and in the Technical and Operational Guidelines for the Diagnosis & Management of GDM, published by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, GOI in Feb 2018. She has over seven years of teaching experience having taught Nutrition and Health Education at the University of Delhi. She has run in the past-for several years-a free health portal which had some of India’s leading medical experts offering free advice. She has also been associated with the WHO and FSSAI as a part of their committees and projects on nutrition and health. Neelanjana Singh serves on the advisory board of some of the top websites on health and nutrition.
