Despite the loss, Reno did not drop in the USL’s Western Conference standings staying at sixth. Reno (10-6-8) is tied with Saint Louis FC following Saint Louis’ win Saturday with 38 points. Forward Brian Brown continues to lead the team with 11 goals on the season and came excruciatingly close to notching his 12th Saturday night against Sacramento. Brown is just four goals away from becoming Reno’s all-time leading scorer (18, Dane Kelly). Las Vegas Lights FC is coming off a thrilling 2-2 draw against Fresno FC Saturday at home. The first-year club remains in the bottom half of the Western Conference standings in 14th place. Midfielder Raul Mendiola leads the club with six goals this year, notching a goal over the weekend.
