6 events have been carried out within this project:

Event 1 Participation: The event involved 80 citizens, including 56 participants from the city of Tiggiano (IT), 8 participants from the city of Toulouse (FR), 2 participants from the city of Tallinn (EE),1 participants from the city of Wien (AT),4 participants from the city of Novi Sad (RS), 2 participants from the city of Cluj (RO),1 participants from the city of Trebnje (SI),1 participants from the city of Sinpaul (RO), 3 participants from the city of Pula (HR),1 participants from the city of Vilnius (LT),1 participants from the city of Skopje (MK) Location / Dates: The event took place in Tiggiano and Tricase (IT), from 04/04/2018 to 07/04/2018 Short description: The aim of the event was to officially present and launch the project SPACE to the general public, sharing good practices with the partners about Citizens’ participation and introducing the “STREET DEBATE” methodology with a field experimentation in the main square in Lecce, with the question: „When did you feel different?”

Event 2 Participation: The event involved 90 citizens, including 63 participants from the city of Tiggiano (IT), 5 participants from the city of Toulouse (FR), 1 participants from the city of Tallinn (EE),3 participants from the city of Wien (AT),3 participants from the city of Novi Sad (RS), 2 participants from the city of Cluj (RO),3 participants from the city of Trebnje (SI),1 participants from the city of Sinpaul (RO), 2 participants from the city of Pula (HR),1 participants from the city of Grad Porec (HR),2 participants from the city of Chios (HE), 2 participants from the city of Paris (FR), 2 participants from the city of Cuenca (SP). Location / Dates: The event took place in Tiggiano and Tricase (IT), from 04/06/2018 to 07/06/2018 Short description: The aim of this meeting was to give the participants the opportunity to improve the required skills in order to become a „Street Facilitator”. The training activity involved the facilitators in all the steps of the Street Debate, from the preparation to the implementation, from the final evaluation to the follow up activities. The so called “Street facilitators” are now ready to work in their local communities.

Event 3 Participation: The event involved 103 citizens, including 72 participants from the city of Tallinn (EE), 6 participants from the city Tiggiano (IT), 2 participants from the city Taurisano (IT), 2 participants from the city Casarano (IT), 3 participants from the city of Toulouse (FR), 2 participants from the city of Wien (AT), 4 participants from the city of Novi Sad (RS), 2 participants from the city of Cluj (RO),3 participants from the city of Trebnje (SI),1 participants from the city of Sinpaul (RO), 1 participants from the city of Pula (HR),2 participants from the city of Grad Porec (HR),2 participants from the city of Chios (HE), 1 participants from the city of Vilnius (LT). Location / Dates: The event took place in Tallinn (EE), from 06/10/2018 to 09/10/2018 Short description: The aim of the event was to share the experience of the Street Debates implemented at local level by the Street Facilitators, with the topic „How important is Europe for you?” and to open a discussion about the feedbacks collected by the passers-by and the difficulties encountered, so as to help the facilitators to refine their skills and have a deeper impact during the next local activity. Moreover, the participants were involved in a “European Street Debate” in the center of Tallinn.

Event 4 Participation: The event involved 83 citizens, including 58 participants from the city of Marseille (FR), 5 participants from the city Tiggiano (IT), 2 participants from the city Taurisano (IT), 1 participants from the city Casarano (IT), 1 participants from the city of Tallinn (EE), 1 participants from the city of Wien (AT), 4 participants from the city of Novi Sad (RS), 2 participants from the city of Cluj (RO),3 participants from the city of Trebnje (SI), 2 participants from the city of Sinpaul (RO), 2 participants from the city of Pula (HR), 2 participants from the city of Grad Porec (HR). Location / Dates: The event took place in Marseille (FR), from 18/03/2019 to 21/03/2019 Short description: The aim of the event was to train the participants about how to adopt and use „Street Sensitization” for the promotion of „European Tools of Participatory Democracy”. The theory was followed by the street experimentation in a square of Marseille. What is more, the participants visited some local examples of Active Citizenship.

Event 5 Participation: The event involved 86 citizens, including 60 participants from the city of Novi Sad (RS), 4 participants from the city Tiggiano (IT), 2 participants from the city Taurisano (IT), 1 participants from the city Casarano (IT), 2 participants from the city of Toulouse (FR),3 participants from the city of Tallinn (EE), 1 participants from the city of Wien (AT), 3 participants from the city of Cluj (RO), 2 participants from the city of Trebnje (SI), 2 participants from the city of Sinpaul (RO), 2 participants from the city of Pula (HR), 2 participants from the city of Grad Porec (HR), 2 participants from the city of Chios (HE). Location / Dates: The event took place in Novi Sad (RS), from 07/05/2019 to 10/05/2019 Short description: After presenting the results of the street debates implemented in the partner communities, the participants started the discussion about the Future of Europe, during the celebration of the “Europe Day” in Novi Sad, where some other local and international good practices were exchanged.

Event 6 Participation: The event involved 90 citizens, including 63 participants from the city of Trebnje (SI), 10 participants from the city Tiggiano (IT), 2 participants from the city Taurisano (IT), 2 participants from the city Casarano (IT), 4 participants from the city of Toulouse (FR), 1 participants from the city of Vilnius (EE), 2 participants from the city of Wien (AT), 1 participants from the city of Novi Sad (RS), 1 participants from the city of Sinpaul (RO), 1 participants from the city of Pula (HR), 2 participants from the city of Grad Porec (HR), 1 participant from the city of Lisbon (PT). Location / Dates: The event took place in Trebnje (SI), from 09/09/2019 to 12/09/2019 Short description: The aim of the event was disseminate the project results. The tool produced, “White Book for the Future of Europe” was officially presented to the public and Mrs Violeta Bulc, EU Commissioner, who gave some tips on how to properly promote this tool at EU level. Moreover, the partners discussed about possible follow up initiatives.
