e’ll stop by your hotel early to pick you up and transport you, for 30 minutes, to the Inca site of Tambomachay (3,700 masl / 12,139 fasl). During this journey we’ll pass through WSacsayhuamán, Q’enqo, and Pucapucara. Tambomachay will be our starng point and there we’ll join the rest of the team: the guide, the horsemen who’ll lead the horses, and the chef. We’ll organise your luggage on top of the horses and start walking.

We’ll ascend for 2 hours unl we reach the first pass of our excursion (4,100 masl / 13,451 fasl). During this journey you’ll be able to observe impressive views of the city and the surrounding mountains. Aer another 30 minutes we’ll arrive at the Qoricocha lake. This spectacular locaon is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious lunch.

Aer lunch, we’ll ascend for 45 minutes to the second pass, which is the highest point of our trek (4,200 masl / 13,779 fasl). From here, what remains for us on the day is downhill.
