The sixth International Elephant race was organized and held in Chitwan. The event was organized by the Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN), Chitwan. There were both national and international teams that participated in the competition. A major announcement was made on this historic day by President Mr. Binod Chaudhary declaring Mr. Nirvana Chaudhary as the new Managing Director. With this ecstatic announcement the group also expressed a prophecy of seeing itself among the top 50 companies of the SAARC nations by 2015. Mr. Nirvana Chaudhary expressed the desire of the group to be recognized up to the grass-root level of Nepal.
