“In physics, a Quantum is the minimum amount of any physical entity involved in an interaction and for this reason indivisible. Music, as a Quantum, is the essence that brings this ensemble together.”

The Quantum - winner of the third prize at the 2020 Fischoff Competition (USA) - met for the first time in 2013 at the University Mozarteum of Salzburg. There, the three young musicians developed together the main repertoire conceived for this ensemble under the guidance of Prof. Alois Brandhofer (Berliner Philharmoniker) and Prof. Wolfgang Redik (Wiener Klaviertrio).

Their special musical chemistry encouraged the Trio to continue their artistic activity together. The Quantum Clarinet Trio is ensemble in residence at the Moulin d’Andé Centre Culturel et Artistique in Normandie, France.
