The Phoenix Centre, Watchet The Phoenix Centre offers a dementia and stroke support group every Tuesday and lunch clubs on Wednesdays and Fridays. The Tuesday group involves activities to keep the mind active, such as puzzles, jigsaws and access to newspapers. The lunch clubs provide hot food, a chance to meet new people, play cards and even learn a craft activity. Every August the Phoenix Centre hosts an exhibition, which showcases the crafts that its members have produced. This adventurous group Active Living in Somerset even organises an annual holiday.
