BIG GREEN WEEK - 5 Discover Rides All rides start 5:45pm from Queen Square, by the central statue - finish 8pm to 8:30pm

Mon 13 June - Bristol’s Chocolate History – (Easy - 8 miles) A short ride looking at Bristol’s history of chocolate manufacturing may be consuming some too!

Tues 14 June – The Smyth Family (Medium – 12 miles) The ride visits two south Bristol parks and estate to learn more about this famous family.

Wed 15 June – Views of Bristol (Medium – 15 miles) The rides circuit is around the inner suburbs, stopping several times to take in the splendid views.

Thurs 16 June – Blaising Saddles (Easy – 10 miles) This ride crosses the Downs to Blaise and includes a short guided walk of the estate, and special access to the tower.

Fri 17 June – Pill Quietway and ‘The Lamplighters’ pub (Medium – 15 miles) Ride to 'The Lamplighters', an historic pub with fantastic view. Return via the Portway path.

Sun 26 June - Tyntesfield, Prior's Wood, Lamplighters Marsh, and Lawrence Weston (Medium – 27 miles) Meet 9.45am at the - Finish about 5pm The ride heads outward via the Chocolate Path, through Ashton Court to Tyntesfield for refreshments/picnic. We continue on to Portbury and Prior's Woods, before crossing the bridge. We will cross Lamplighters Marsh for to refreshments/picnic at Lawrence Weston Community Farm before returning along the Portway. Involves some fairly gentle 'off-roading'.
