Not a religious or political gathering, the Common Chords concert was simply a physical manifestation demonstrating that through music and culture, we all have more in common than not and we can celebrate our universal sameness in peace and harmony. The two principal organizers of the concert were local musician and radio personality Dave Kline and Rabbi Minna Bromberg. Dave and Minna met two years ago through an introduction by Tammy Mitgang. Minna was looking to speak with Dave about folk music, and Dave Kline performs with Color Blind at the Common Chords concert in Kesher Zion Synagogue.
