A big welcome, once again, to our opponents Bradford Park Avenue (BPA) who have travelled here tonight for this West Riding County Cup Semi Final (replay).

BPA play three leagues above us in the Conference North where they currently lie in 15th place. Our last meeting was a very enjoyable game and BPA showed themselves to be an excellent side. Our players can however take heart from the fact that they scored two good goals in the last few minutes. We’ve unexpectedly got a second bite at the cherry and we know the players will be desperate to make this one count.

A big thank you to everyone who came to Barton and Pickering last week. Every week we’re overwhelmed by the number of supporters who follow us both home and away, and it was great to help Pickering Town achieve their biggest crowd of the season. We were obviously disappointed with the results, but we know the team will bounce back. And what better time to do it than in the Semi Final of the West Riding County Cup?

Our dream of playing at Wembley is sadly over for another season, but there is still the chance SMOCK TOP of playing at Bradford ’s ground if we can win tonight’s game. The final takes place on April 15th and is against Garforth Town. We’d love nothing more than to be a part of it. • 100% Polyester Taslan for Maximum Protection from the Elements
