FAMILY ADVENTURES The Höhenpromenade (High altitude promenade) and Schmidolin’s Feuertaufe (Baptism of Fire) are two of many Schmitten adven- tures which are perfect for families. On the family adventure trail “Schmidolins baptism of fire” families walk from station to station in Schmidolin’s footsteps.

PURE ACTION Austria’s highest Electric-Motocross Park is worth a visit for adren- aline junkies. Varied parcours next to breathtaking scenery are fun for all ages and speed lovers. Cool kids from 6 – 14 years can improve their skills in balance at “Schmidolin’s rocket bike”. Extra Tip: OSET 24 Racing Junior Trail for everyone from 12 – 99 years.

LEGEND TRAIL “MYSTICAL FOREST” The mystical forest takes you on an exciting journey in the world of sagas. Experience the stories/tales very closely on the various sta- tions on site. The kids will surely be thrilled about the new adventure playground at the Schmiedhofalm.

YOGA & JODELING ON THE MOUNTAIN There are many free guided hikes, as well as mountain yoga and jodeling, included in a valid lift ticket. Relax at 2,000 m with an ex- perienced yoga trainer. Participants enjoy the art of Indian yoga for 2 hours. This is included in the cable car ticket. A musical introduction to the alpine yodelling technique is given to the participants during a yodelling lesson at 2,000 m. 14 15 HIGH ALTITUDE RESERVOIRS KAPRUN A BLEND OF NATURE AND TECHNOLOGY Special bus shuttles and the largest diagonal lift in Europa, will comfortably take you to the Mooserboden reservoir, situated at an altitude of 2,000 metres. Numerous hiking trails invite you to ex- plore, a guided dam wall tour provides insights behind the scenes of electricity, a dam and the via ferrata Arena beckons for sporting challenge.

HERBAL TRAIL: An easy hike for families is the herbal trail from Mooserboden down to the farmed Fürthermoar Alm. (more infor- mation see page 31). On site you can enjoy regional delicacies, for children there is a petting zoo and a playground.

WALKING AND LEARNING WITH CHILDREN: Tour of the Mooser- boden reservoir for children: Six adventure stations will allow young and old visitors to find out more about nature and technol- ogy in a playful manner. At the cash desk, children are handed a leaflet with a plan and directions on how to experience the kids trail. With the answer cards the children will receive a little surprise at the kiosk near the exhibition “Electricity Adventure World”.
