The first ever meeting between Florida and Texas ended in Thursday’s scoring: a double-overtime 1-all tie. USF took the lead into halftime after Chloe Zamiela scored in the 40th minute. Sunday’s scoring: The Gators came out of halftime on attack, as graduate Kit Loferski knotted the score in the 47th minute. Texas scored its first goal of the young season in the 61st minute when Carlee Allen headed in Lexi Missimo’s Sophomore Cece Price sent a cross forward and Loferski got the step on her defender to chip the Bulls keeper corner kick. for the tying goal.
