PAN-European MFA – Creative writing Summer Program in Vienna The Vienna summer residency of Cedar Crest College’s Pan-European MFA offers insight into the Eastern-Western European divide, immersing students in the diverse cultural histories and landscapes of the neighboring cities of Vienna and Bratislava. Seminars in Vienna will focus on the city’s literary café culture, its unparalleled music history, and the influences of the Habsburg Empire and the Austrian-Hungarian Empire on the European and global landscapes. 2. Transportation Vienna International Airport Vienna International Airport is a gateway to the entire world for both private and business travelers. Its boasts in its optimal geographic position for destinations throughout Eastern Europe and the Middle East, as well as its high punctuality and first-rate service with a minimum transfer time of 25 minutes.
