L'attore, che nel 2003 ha lavorato con Cipri' e Maresco ne "Il ritorno di Cagliostro", e' al secondo scouting in Italia e ha visitato locations nel Lazio. Robert Englund e' considerato il piu' grande attore del nuovo cinema horror americano. Nella sua carriera da regista ha diretto due film horror ("976 Evil" e "Killer pad"), alcuni episodi di uno show televisivo "Nightmare cafe'" e "Freddy's nightmare" e, piu' importante, una larga varieta' di opere basate sui popolari scrittori russi Dostojevski e Checov. "The Vijj", spiega Englund, "e' una fantasia gotica 'dark', caratterizzata da elementi come la paura e la paranoia, ma che pone anche domande sulla fede e perfino sulla natura dell'amore: temi controversi che scaturiranno sicuramente polemiche. La ReDark, coproduttrice italiana del film, vuole riportare ai massimi livelli il genere horror in Italia e grazie alla preziosa attivita' di Roma e Lazio Film Commission abbiamo trovato locations suggestive fuori dal traffico delle citta', come Civita di Bagnoregio. La palestra, con tapis roulant e cyclette, sarà a sua disposizione per tre giorni. Tra i giovani rambini è già partito il tam tam. Sylvester presenterà il suo nuovo film John Rambo, distribuito in Italia da Fulvio Lucisano e dalla Buena Vista. Ma approfitterà per passare una tre giorni di vacanze romane tra cultura (Galleria Borghese) e shopping. E Stallone, a differenza delle altre star sempre in limousine, adora passeggiare per via Condotti, via Borgognona, via Frattina e via del Babuino: per salutare i fans e firmare tanti autografi. Englund, Professor of Assyriology & Sumerology and Director of the Cuneiform Digital Library Initiative (CDLI) at the University of California, Los Angeles, at the National Humanities Center on October 22, 2004. As principal investigator of the CDLI, Englund has led an international group of Assyriologists, museum cura- tors, and historians of science to make available through the Internet the form and content of cuneiform tablets dating from the beginning of writing, circa 3350 BC.
