TERMS: U.S.C. “CASH” ONLY

1. is open to all persons at least 18 years of age, except Suffolk County Employees or their spouses. Successful bidders must possess and present valid identification at the time of sale.

2. All merchandise is sold in “as is” condition, there are no guarantees or warranties. All clothing is believed to be new, with the exception of furs.

3. All sales are final. There will be no refunds or returns. Payment is to be made in cash only, plus sales tax. Full payment is due at the time of the sale.

4. The auctioneer’s decision is final.

5. All purchased items become the responsibility of the buyer at the time of purchase.

6. Jewelry will be described along with any markings found on metals. Metal was acid tested for quality. Clear stones were tested for “positive” or “negative” readings with an electronic diamond tester. Items were weighed using an electronic scale. The weights reported are inclusive of metal and stones. There is no guarantee of the accuracy of the testing, or the type or quality of metals or their markings.

7. Some lots will have reserves, if reserve is not met, the lot will not be sold.

8. The Police Department advises that you should inspect or have inspected any item that is purchased, before it is used. Please do not use or allow children to use any purchased item until you leave this property.

9. No alcoholic beverages are permitted on County property.

10. Small children must be supervised at all times.

11. Parking for the auction will only be permitted in marked stalls of the Headquarters North Parking Lot. No vehicle will be permitted to park on the side of any road within the Headquarters Complex.

12. On site portable toilet facilities are provided.
