By sharing this list, DCYF does not endorse visitation at all of these locations; Department staff and families should keep in mind that visitation in some of these locations may not be appropriate for certain children and families depending on the county they are in and the health of the children, their caregivers, and their families. Tam O'Shanter Park This multi-use community park has five baseball fields (two lighted), three softball fields, a multipurpose field for soccer, a basketball court with six hoops, two horse shoe pits, access to a regional trail system, 30 picnic areas, and 10 restrooms. There is a large playground to the south of the fields for use by younger children.

Catlin Rotary Spray Park located on the corner of Cowlitz Way and Main Street and includes a water spray play area, benches, picnic tables and restrooms. This park is open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend, 10:00am - 9:00pm.

Lads and Lassies Park South 8th Avenue and Elm Street. This completely fenced park has a playground, park benches, picnic table and a bike rack. This park is used year around by the surrounding community.

The Library offers an array of activities, there is ample space for parents to provide food in the old food court. The Children's Museum offers a setting where parents can engage with their children in very constructive ways. Our parents can benefit from the inadvertent role modeling of other parents. There are a few tables just outside the facility and many more down the mall in the old food court where food can be eaten, board games and other activities away from the facility.
