In addition to these, sisters also gathered to celebrate Valentine’s Day by participating in a scrumptious dessert potluck. Yum! Sisterhood Retreat

This year’s sisterhood retreat took place on Saturday, February 21st. Beginning at the Museum of Fine Arts, Kappa Omega participated in a number of activities that bolstered sisterhood and chapter morale. Throughout the day, we enjoyed exploring the museum, learning Sigma Kappa recruitment songs and chants, and attempting to untie an impossibly-created human knot. To wrap up an exciting day, Kappa Omega relaxed by watching Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. This year’s retreat was exciting, and we can’t wait to see what Sisterhood Chair Rachel Butensky has in store for in the fall semester!

Alumnae Shout-Out

Kappa Omega would like to thank all of the wonderful alumnae that have continuously helped us out throughout the semester so far. On February 4th, members of the chapter’s advisory board helped lead an interesting and engaging program that informed our chapter more thoroughly about Sigma Kappa’s Risk Management Policy. Additionally, we are appreciative of the alumnae who attended our brunch at Fire and Ice on February 28th. We had a great time, and we look forward to hosting more events in the future!

Relay For Life

Last year, Kappa Omega raised a grand total of over $10,000 for the American Cancer Society through our Relay for Life team. Currently, we are over a quarter of the way towards surpassing last year’s goal, and the chapter is actively working to make this year’s donation as large as possible. If you would like to become more involved in our efforts, please contact Kappa Omega’s Vice President of Philanthropic Services, Victoria Liceaga, at [email protected]. Additionally, if you would like to donate through our team, this can be done by clicking HERE . Any and all contributions are greatly appreciated!
