Meet WBAA's New Operations Director Aside from a 4 year stint at Indiana University, (sorry!) Lee Shaw has been a life-long resident of the Greater Lafayette area, working behind the scenes at both WJEF and WLFI before joining the operations team at WBAA. He is excited for the opportunity to work in public radio and is looking forward to many more years as a Boilermaker, much to his family’s amusement.

Stan Jastrzebski's Trivia Adventure WBAA News Director Stan Jastrzebski (along with WBAA member and Purdue chemistry

professor Mark Lipton) was part of a team that finished 10th out of nearly 200 teams at last weekend’s National Trivia League finals in New Orleans, Louisiana. It’s the second consecutive year Jastrzebski and Lipton’s team, this year called “Hamsternado,” has both placed in the top ten and been the top team from Indiana. The competition draws some of the best pub trivia players from around the country to compete, including several former game show champions.
