The lectures will be held in the Grosvenor Suite, the exhibition and catering in the Terrace Lounge, while the posters will be spread between both areas. The hotel is right across from the Botanic Gardens and close to the University of Glasgow and Kelvingrove Art Gallery. The nearest subway stop is Hillhead, a 5 minute walk away on Byres Road. Glasgow Airport is only 20 minutes away via the M8. Further travel information can be found online at http://quamp2017.iopconfs.org/travel 4 Parking The hotel car park is on the ground floor at the rear of the hotel and on the top floor only of the Waitrose car park in Grosvenor Lane. PLEASE NOTE THAT CHARGES APPLY- There is also alternative parking available on Great George Street, a 3 minute walk from the hotel (from £0.60 per hour) or on surrounding streets. Accommodation Accommodation is not included in your registration fee and delegates are expected to organise their own accommodation. If you would like to book accommodation at the Hilton Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel, you will need to contact the hotel directly for the cost and room availability. A printed copy of the programme will be included in your welcome pack. On-site registration Registration will be located in concourse area of the hotel and will be open during the following hours: • Monday 4 September 11:00-18:00 • Tuesday 5 September 08:30-18:30 • Wednesday 6 September 08:30-18:00 • Thursday 7 September 08:30-13:00 On arrival, each participant will receive a delegate pack containing a pen and pad, a programme and badge. The abstract book will be in digital format only and is available to download from the website. Please wear your badge at all times because this will help with security and catering, and will enable you to identify your fellow delegates. Replacement badges can be issued at the registration desk. Payment The organiser reserves the right to refuse admission to any participant who has failed to pay their registration fee in full prior to the start of the event. Catering Refreshments and lunches are served at set times during the programme in the Terrace Lounge. Dietary requirements Participants with special dietary requirements are asked to notify the conference office by email prior to their arrival if they have not already done so when registering. Those with special dietary requirements other than vegetarian are asked to make themselves known to the catering team. It will not be possible to provide an alternative menu unless prior notification has been received. 5 Social programme Monday 4 September A civic reception will take place at the City Chambers in Glasgow. It will commence at 18:30 and end at 19:30. Glasgow City Chambers George Square, Glasgow G2 1DU Directions on how to get to the City Chambers will be included in your welcome pack. Tuesday 5 September A reception will be held in the Terrace Lounge from 18:00-20:00 on Tuesday 5 September. During this reception, participants are encouraged to visit the exhibitors and view the posters. Wednesday 6 September The conference dinner will take place at Òran Mór, located a few minutes’ walk from the hotel. The dinner will commence at 19:00 and finish at approximately 23:00.
