1. Korn Ferry announced as umbrella sponsor of The PGA TOUR and Korn Ferry (NYSE: KFY) announced a 10-year agreement making the Los Angeles-based, global organizational consulting firm the Umbrella Sponsor of the newly named Korn Ferry Tour. In replacing Web.com, Korn Ferry’s sponsorship takes effect June 19 and extends through the 2028 season. The Korn Ferry Tour will continue to award PGA TOUR membership to the Tour’s 50 leading players, including the top 25 from the Regular Season points list and the top 25 from the three-event points list. The announcement was made jointly by PGA TOUR Commissioner Jay Monahan, Korn Ferry Chief Executive Officer Gary Burnison, and Korn Ferry Tour President Alex Baldwin last Wednesday in New York City.

2. Savannah Golf Championship announces charitable impact The Savannah Golf Championship is proud to announce our charitable impact from 2019 of just under $50,000. Thank you to all our fans and partners for making this possible. Our 11 Official Charity Partners are: Bethesda Academy, EmployAbility, Girls on the Run Coastal Georgia Low Country, Kids Café with Second Harvest, Landings Military Family Relief Fund, Landings Landlovers, Nine Line Foundation, Park Place Outreach Youth Emergency Services, SAFE Shelter, Savannah CASA and USO Ft. Stewart/HAAF.

3. McCarthy closing in on PGA TOUR card Savannah Golf Championship winner, Dan McCarthy, is set to compete this week at the Championship presented by Zions Bank. The 33-year-old is currently ranked 19th in The 25 with 597 Korn Ferry Tour points. It is estimated that players with 830 or more points at the end of the Regular Season will earn their PGA TOUR card for the 2019-20 season. McCarthy earned his first Korn Ferry Tour victory earlier this season at the Savannah Golf Championship and has made five cuts in his last seven starts. The veteran is looking to secure his first PGA TOUR card of his career.
