It was the sixth edition of the joint exercise between these two nations. The exercise was conducted from 26th March 2019 to 08th April 2019. According to World Press Freedom Index 2019 released by an International NGO, „Reporters without Borders‟, India has dropped to two places down on a global press freedom index to be ranked 140th out of 180 countries. The index is based on the assessment of the countries‟ press freedom records in the previous year. The report is partly based on a questionnaire which asked questions about pluralism, media independence, environment and self-censorship, legislative framework, transparency, and infrastructure. India is ranked at 19th position with a score of 64.9 out of 28 countries in the Index of Cancer Preparedness (ICP) released by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU). It is released as part of the report titled “Cancer preparedness around the world: National readiness for a global epidemic” by EIU.
