DID YOU KNOW? - The Kentucky cheerleaders have won an unprecedented 19 national cheerlead- ing championships, including 15 of the last 19, at the annual Universal Cheerleaders Association championships. - Wildcat superfan Jim Brown had an attendance streak of 423 consecutive home games, but had to miss the Alabama game on Oct. 3, 2009 because of illness. He had seen every home game since 1938, with the exception of 1944 (military serv- ice, World War II). For more on Brown, see the feature story on page 108 of the UK football media guide. - Kentucky is one of only 10 schools that have won an NCAA men’s basketball championship while also having a claim on a national championship in football. - UK is one of only seven universities in the U.S. that have programs in agricul- ture, engineering, law, medicine and pharmacy on a single campus.

FAMILY TIES AT KENTUCKY - UK video analyst Sam Simpson’s father (also named Sam) played football at Kentucky from 1977-79. - OL Zach Myers is the son of former UK offensive lineman Brad Myers (1984- 87). Brad blocked for three of the top rushers in UK history - George Adams, Mark Higgs and Marc Logan. - DL Langston Newton is the younger brother of former UK quarterback Morgan Newton. Langston’s twin brother J.J. Newton is a student manager with the UK football team. - There are two sets of twins on the team this season in Daron and Zack Blaylock and Chris and Demitrious Davis. The Blaylocks were freshmen last season and saw significant playing time for UK, while the Davises recently transfered from Pittsburgh and will sit out the 2013 season. 2013 Kentucky Football Player Biographies 2013 Game-by-Game #3 JOJO KEMP OFFENSE Opp. Comp-Att.
