However, the exact times, days, and destinations may vary for your group. Day 1 - Depart from your hometown and travel to Chattanooga. Tucked between the mountains of Southeast Tennessee, along the beautiful Tennessee River, Chattanooga is one of America's most breathtaking cities and has been voted as one of the "Top 45 Places to go" in the World. Upon arrival you will visit Rock City Gardens on the Lookout Mountain Incline Railway where trolley cars take you up Lookout Mountain “cloud high” on the steepest passenger railway in America. Since 1929, “See Rock City” has dotted the barn roofs along America’s highways. From the Seven State Flag Court to the Swinging Bridge, Lover’s Leap and Fat Mans Squeeze … a stroll through Rock City is old- fashioned fun. Next, inside Lookout Mountain you will enjoy a visit to thundering Ruby Falls. At 145 feet, it is the world’s tallest underground waterfall. Dinner is included tonight. Day 2- Enjoy a delicious breakfast, then depart for the Tennessee Aquarium on the banks of the Tennessee River. The Aquarium is home to 10,000 animals and an IMAX Theater. After your visit, return to your hotel to relax and freshen up before dinner. This evening you will enjoy a great dinner with beautiful scenery aboard the Southern Belle Riverboat. The Southern Belle Riverboat is one of the top attractions in Chattanooga. Enjoy dinner while cruising down the TN River and enjoying picture- perfect views of Lookout Mountain and all the beautiful nature this great city has to offer! Day 3- Enjoy a delicious breakfast, then check out and head for a great adventure aboard the Missionary Ridge Local, which is part of the Tennessee Valley Railroad. You will enjoy an hour-long ride which passes through a horseshoe tunnel. After your ride, depart for a visit to the Hunter Museum of American Art. The Museum includes 100 years of architectures and the most complete collection of American Art in the Southeast. Afterwards, depart for home with fond memories of Chattanooga. June 11-13, 2016 Dear Students and Parents, Project ENRICH is heading to Chattanooga, TN. All Trigg County Primary/Intermediate students and their families are eligible to attend. We’ve planned three fun-filled days and two fun-filled nights this year! Day 1: We will load the buses and leave the Primary/Intermediate School early in the morning on Saturday, June 11 th . We will travel to Chattanooga, TN. We will be staying at the Best Western – Royal Inn. Saturday afternoon we will tour the Tennessee Aquarium and enjoy the IMAX Theater. The evening of this day will be free time for you. The motel has a swimming pool so don’t forget your swimsuits. Day 2: After breakfast at the hotel, we will see seven states from Rock City, tour the underground waterfall at Ruby Falls, and ride up and down the side of Lookout Mountain on the Incline Railway. Day 3: After breakfast at the hotel, we will load the buses and travel back to downtown. Just when you think you’ve seen it all from land, we will splash into the Tennessee River for the unforgettable views of Chattanooga’s Riverfront and Maclellan Island. Not just a tour, it’s an adventure! You will board an authentic renovated WWII amphibious landing craft for a narrated tour of downtown Chattanooga, TN.
