There are few Danish films that are still as popular – if not more so – than when they were first released 50 years ago. One member of this elite group is Olsen-Banden i Jylland (The Olsen Gang in Jutland), which first graced cinema screens back in the autumn of 1971. The film sold only 338,898 tickets at the cinema, but its popularity has increased over the years. It is the third film of a total of 14, and the first in which you really see the popular characters from the film fall into place. Minisheet 281189 DKK 44.00. Will you remember the names? These are five species of butterfly that are in the process of disappearing from the Danish natural environment. There are around 100 species of butterflies in Denmark, but the lack of flower-rich habitats and several dry summers in a row have particularly contributed to the rapid decline of these colourful insects. • The Current Macroeconomic Climate in Denmark
The current macroeconomic climate in Denmark By Allan N. Gjerding Ph.D., Associate Professor in Business Administration Department of Business Studies, Aalborg University Fibigerstræde 4, DK-9220 Aalborg Øst Tel.: +45 9635 8231 Fax: +45 9815 3505 e-mail: [email protected] Abstract The Danish economy has recovered remarkably during the last 15 years – remarkably because the recovery does not really fit what would normally be expected from economic theory. An important explanation is the fact that the Danish economy is linked to a relatively small num- ber of internationally high-income economies the business cycles of which are not synchro- nised. At the same time, the Danish economy is characterised by a highly dynamic and flexi- ble labour market sustaining the Danish economic position. However, the current growth of the Danish economy is driven by private consumption which is not sustainable in the medium run. The future prospects of the Danish economy depend very much on the ability to increase private investments and what is going to happen in the German economy. Allan N. Gjerding, The current macroeconomic climate in Denmark , Mimeo, March 2005 Page 1 of 11 Background From the end of the 1960ies to the beginning of the 1980ies, one of the first and now oldest 1 movie production companies in the world, the Danish Nordisk Film , released 13 movies about a genius however clumsy and unfortunate criminal gang named after its leader Olsen . The gang portrayed the classic story about the little man fighting the big and powerful guy, mostly in terms of the honourable and decent criminal trying to steal in a non-violent fashion what the real big criminals have deprived society of.

This could be the convincing evidence that MH370 went down in the Indian Ocean,” Abdul Aziz Kaprawi said. He said a part number stenciled on the piece of wreckage recovered on the Indian Ocean island of La Reunion on Wednesday confirms it came from a Boeing 777. The ill- fated jet, which vanished 16 months ago with 239 people aboard, was a Boeing 777. Investigators believe it mysteriously divert- ed off its flight path from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing in March of last year and later crashed in the southern Indian Ocean. There have been no other crashes of that aircraft model in that part of the world. “From the part number, it is confirmed that it is from a Boeing 777 aircraft.
