Official Rules for 100.1 The Wolf $1,000 a Day in May Contest 1. By entering the entrant acknowledges and agrees to abide by these contest rules. 2. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Making a purchase will not increase your chances of winning. 3. To be eligible all contestants must be U.S. cizens & 21 years of age and older. Employees and immediate family members of West Virginia Radio Corporaon and the Urse Automove Group are not eligible. 4. Contestants may enter one me daily during the contest period of May 1 thru May 31. 5. Contestants may win the $1,000 daily prize one me during the contest period of May 1 thru May 31. There will be one winner per day. 6. All contestants agree to allow the radio staon and the sponsor to use their voice and likeness in pictures or video for promoonal materials in conjuncon with the contest. 7. Parcipang staons are WKWS-Charleston region, WKKW-Morgantown, Clarksburg, Fairmont region, WJLS FM-Beckley region, WVMD-FM Cumberland Region, and WICL- Marnsburg region. 8. Any federal, state, and local fees associated with winning the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. 9. These contest rules shall be interpreted in accordance with West Virginia law. 10. Any aempt by an entrant to tamper with the proper administraon of the contest will disqualify the applicant. 11. Void where prohibited. All federal, state and local rules apply. 12. Staons reserve the right to change or alter the rules of this contest at any me. Contest Execuon: 1. Every day in May, WVMD, will announce the One thousand dollar Song of the Day three mes between 6:00am and 9:00am. The winning song will only play between 9am and 5pm Monday thru Friday, and between 12 Noon and 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. If the song plays outside the designated play mes it is not the one thousand dollar song of the day and no prize will be issued. 2. The contest sponsor may offer special clues that could narrow the me frame in which the song will be played. Instrucons for receiving these clues will be announced on the staons. 3. All contestants will have a 10 minute window from the me the song starts to text their entry to (Daily Key Word) at 35651, message and data rates may apply. The key word will change each day. 4. Contestants will receive a return text message acknowledging their entry. Contestants must answer their phone in order to win. If the staon is aempng to call a contestant and the phone is not answered or goes to voice mail that contestant will be disqualified and another daily winner will be chosen. The daily winner will be called within 30 minutes of the conclusion of the song. Once the daily winner is cerfied eligible according to the contest rules the winning name will be announced on the staons. 5. Daily winners agree to the winning phone call being recorded and agree that the recording can be used for promoonal purposes over the air and on websites and social media sites of the radio staons and the contest sponsors. 6. Staons are not responsible for problems associated with radio transmission, cellular or wireless phone transmission, phone lines or satellite transmissions. This includes, but is not limited to: telephone disconnects, cellular interference, dropped calls, or technical or atmospheric condions that disrupt a text message, phone call or the radio signal or internet stream of the radio signal. 7. The winning prize will be delivered to the radio staon within four weeks of the winning date. Checks may be picked up between 9am and 5pm Monday thru Friday.
