Fundamentals of Filmmaking The Practical Filmmaking course, held over five weekends, allows you to jump directly into hands-on filmmaking. This condensed course skips the theory, and focuses on the technical skills. The five weekends are spent working in small groups, developing and producing a short film from start to finish. Beginning with writing a script, each student takes a story through pre-production, production, and post production. These short films can be used as a personal showreel or for submission to festivals.
