The Choctaws hold a 4-3 advantage in the brief history between the two teams, with the Choctaws winning the last two matchups. Head Coach: Jeremy Haworth • In their most recent action, the Choctaws split a midweek doubleheader with the University of Montevallo on Tuesday March 27, dropping the first game 8-7, and winning game two 4-3. Career: 157-159-1 (7th season) • Junior outfielder Luke Yancey's .372 batting average leads the Choctaws, who are hitting .318 as a team. at MC: 57-65 (3rd season) Senior outfielder Kyle Smith leads the Choctaws and sits tied for 2nd in the conference with 11 doubles, in vs.UNA: 2-2 addition to ranking among the GSC's best in runs scored (32) and on base percentage (.500). • On the mound, Chris Crosby (4-1) has posted a team-best 42 strikeouts in a team-high 47 innings pitched. Exhibit B: In 20 games with the University of Tampa Spartans this season, the midfield gunner notched 31 goals and 11 assists, a stats line that landed the 19-year-old a first-team all-star berth in the Sunshine State Conference.
