FC Bayern München welcome Juventus to Bavaria for the second leg of their UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie. • Bayern looked well set to cruise into the quarter-finals when Thomas Müller and Arjen Robben struck either side of half-time in Turin, but first UEFA Champions League goals from Paulo Dybala and Stefano Sturaro brought Juve level and extended their unbeaten home European record to 17 matches, since Bayern's last vist in 2013. • Twice champions of Europe, Juventus were runners-up last season, while Bayern won the last of their five titles in 2013 and were semi-finalists in 2014 and 2015. • This fixture will take Juve's Mario Mandžukić back to the city where he played for two seasons, while also providing a reunion for Bayern pair Arturo Vidal and Kingsley Coman with their former Bianconeri team-mates. Goalkeeper Hans-Jörg Butt (penalty), Ivica Olić, Mario Gomez and Anatoliy Tymoshchuk struck to secure a win that carried the Bavarian club into the last 16 at Juve's expense. • Gianluigi Buffon and Claudio Marchisio played for Juventus in that 2009 encounter in Turin; Philipp Lahm, Holger Badstuber, Thomas Müller and substitute Arjen Robben represented Bayern. • The Bianconeri last prevailed in this fixture in November 2005 when David Trezeguet scored both goals in a 2-1 home success in the group stage. 13 FC Bayern München - Juventus Wednesday 16 March 2016 - 20.45CET (20.45 local time) Match press kit Fußball Arena München, Munich Head coach Josep Guardiola Date of birth: 18 January 1971 Nationality: Spanish Playing career: FC Barcelona, Brescia Calcio (twice), AS Roma, al-Ahly Club, Dorados de Sinola Coaching career: FC Barcelona B, FC Barcelona, FC Bayern München • Known as 'Pep', he came up through Barcelona's youth ranks to win six Spanish Liga titles, one European Champion Clubs' Cup, a UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and two Copa del Rey trophies from 1990 to 2001. Also had spells with Brescia, Roma, al-Ahly in Doha and Mexico's Dorados de Sinola before ending his playing career in 2006. Won 40 caps and Olympic footballing gold with Spain in 1992, but missed the 1998 and 2002 FIFA World Cups through injury. • Having coached Barcelona's B team, he took charge of the senior side in 2008 and won the UEFA Champions League, Spanish Liga and Copa del Rey in his first season. In the process he became the sixth man to have lifted the European Cup as player and coach. • That was just the beginning of a glorious four-season spell which yielded 14 trophies. In his second campaign, Guardiola steered Barcelona to a second Liga title as well as the Spanish and UEFA Super Cups and the FIFA Club World Cup. Even more sucess followed in 2010/11 as Barcelona completed a hat-trick of Spanish titles and, for the second time under Guardiola, got the better of Manchester United FC in the UEFA Champions League final.

• In his final season, 2011/12, Guardiola's team won the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup once more before he signed off his reign with a second Copa del Rey triumph. • After a year's break, Guardiola took charge of Bayern in June 2013, replacing Jupp Heynckes at the helm. In his first campaign he collected the UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, German Cup and, with a record seven games to spare, the Bundesliga title. He secured his second successive Bundesliga title by ten points the following season, but Bayern were knocked out by Guardiola's old club Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League semi-final. Massimiliano Allegri Date of birth: 11 August 1967 Nationality: Italian Playing career: UC Cuoiopelli, AS Livorno Calcio (twice), Pisa Calcio, AC Pavia, Pescara Calcio (twice), Cagliari Calcio, AC Perugia, Calcio Padova, SSC Napoli, AC Pistoiese, Aglianese Calcio 1923 Coaching career: Aglianese Calcio 1923, SPAL 1907, US Grosseto FC, US Sassuolo Calcio, Cagliari Calcio, AC Milan, Juventus • A creative attacking midfielder, Allegri started out in his native Tuscany with Cuoiopelli and then Livorno, his hometown club. First appeared in Serie A for Pisa against Milan in 1988/89 but played only twice that season before heading back to Livorno. • Returned to Serie A after helping Pescara win promotion in 1992. The following term he scored 12 goals under Giovanni Galeone, the coach Allegri still considers his mentor. After leaving Pescara in 1993, had spells at Cagliari, Perugia, Padova and Napoli before hanging up his boots back in Tuscany with fourth division Aglianese in 2003. • Moved straight into coaching at Aglianese, prior to taking charge at SPAL and Grosseto. In November 2008 he won the Panchina d'Oro (golden bench) as the third division's best coach having led Sassuolo to promotion. • Had earlier been appointed by Cagliari whom he led to ninth place in 2009, winning the Panchina d'Oro again, this time as Serie A's best coach. A bad run of results the following season prompted Allegri's dismissal on 13 April 2010 – although he had already done enough to earn a two-year contract at Milan. • Allegri's first season at San Siro ended with his new club winning the Scudetto for the first time since 2004. Dismissed in January 2014 with Milan 11th in Serie A, that summer he was appointed to succeed Antonio Conte at Juventus. Allegri won the Scudetto and the Coppa Italia with Juventus in his first season, also taking his side to the final of the UEFA Champions League.
