THE LORD’S SUPPER Rev. Caldwell
INVITATION TO COMMUNION Rev. Caldwell
Once again, our Lenten journey has brought us to this table, on the threshold of Holy Week. We remember that Jesus’ final act with his disciples was to break bread and share a cup as symbols of his life, given for a holy purpose. On Palm Sunday, we come to the Lord’s Supper with loud shouts of “Hosanna!” which
means, “save us now!” Filled with the gifts of God, let us remember Jesus’ saving work on the cross, and let us go forth from this place, ready to embrace his ongoing work of salvation in our lives, and in the world.
