ITINERARY

Day 1 ARRIVE IN LIMA, THE CITY OF KINGS

Arrive at the Lima airport, where your guide will greet you and take you to your hotel, situated in the Miraflores district. There are lots of shops, cafes, restaurants, and parks in this area -- spend the rest of the day at your leisure, exploring these spots on your own. Day 2 LIMA CITY TOUR & GASTRONOMY TOUR

This morning, after breakfast in the hotel, enjoy a half day city tour. Learn about Lima's historic spots, walk through the Plaza de Armas and Plaza San Martin, and see some of its important landmarks. Then in the afternoon, you'll go on a Lima gastronomy tour to enjoy Pisco Sours, Peru's national cocktail, and learn what makes Peruvian food so distinctive.

Day 3 ICA WINE BODEGAS & DESERT OASIS HUACACHINA

Today, after breakfast, you'll take a private transfer to the city of Ica, located a few hour's drive south of Lima. In this city, there are several wine bodegas where Peruvian wine is produced. Enjoy wine tasting, and spend the afternoon having some fun in the sun at the desert oasis town of Huacachina. Located just a few minutes outside of Ica, this town consists of a small lagoon surrounded by palms, shops, restaurants, hotels, and beyond that, vast sand dunes. You can go on a fun dune buggy ride, try sandboarding, or just climb the dunes to see the sunset. Then transfer to the Queirolo for a night at this gorgeous hotel.

Day 4 WINE TASTING IN CHINCHA & RETURN TO LIMA

En route back to Lima, stop at the historic town of Chincha, where there are several vineyards. Enjoy wine tasting at the Tabernero Winery or the Viñas de Oro pisco winery and factory. Then continue on to Lima, where you'll check back into your hotel. Day 5 DEPARTURE FROM LIMA

After breakfast in the hotel, transfer to the Lima airport for your flight home or to your next destination. If you have more time to spend in Peru, we recommend adding a night in Paracas Bay, near Ica, where you can see an incredible amount of wildlife and stunning landscapes.
