It made its Star Wars: Darksaber in a episode of the Clone Wars animated series, carried by a man named Pre Vizsla voiced, coincidentally, by Mandalorian creator Jon Favreau. Pre Vizsla was a terrorist who often fought with the Jedi. Tarre Vizsla created the black lightsaber during the rule of the Star Wars: Darksaber Republic Star Wars: Darksaber the prequels. Unlike most lightsabers, the blade of the Darksaber is angled and looks more like a sword. As discussed in the final episode of The Mandalorianthe Jedi and the Mandalorians were traditionally enemies. Tarre Vizsla becoming a Jedi led to a short truce between the two groups. Tarre Vizsla eventually became the ruler of the planet Mandalore. When he died, the Jedi took back the Darksaber and stored it in the Jedi Temple and the peace between the Mandalorians and the Jedi eventually fell apart. The Darksaber became an important symbol among the Mandalore. Whoever held it became the leader of Clan Vizsla, one of Star Wars: Darksaber largest clans on the Mandalorian planet. The only way a person could become the master of the Darksaber was to defeat its previous owner. Maul survived using the Force. Unfortunately for Pre Vizsla, Maul coveted the Darksaber and eventually the two dueled. Maul won the Darksaber from Pre Vizsla, and the Mandalorians became divided over whether to follow Darth Maul, a non-Mandalore, or a Mandalore leader instead. Civil War broke out on the planet. Darth Maul later challenged his old master Palpatine a. Maul lost but did not die. He went on to become a crime lord as seen in Solo. But in that movie, he uses his red, double-bladed saber as seen in Phantom Menace. She trained to use the Saber under Jedi trainee Kanan Jarus. Sabine Wren went on to use the Darksaber to fight Star Wars: Darksaber soldiers on Mandalore when they tried to wipe out the Mandalorian race. Sabine Wren gave the saber to Bo-Katan Kryze, who by virtue of holding the weapon became the new ruler of the Mandalorians. She is the last known owner of the saber before Star Wars: Darksaber Gideon appears with it in the show. Gideon seems to be obsessed Star Wars: Darksaber Mandalorian culture: He played a major role in the Purge on Mandalore and even went so far as to discover the true names of the foundlings — or orphans — who were rescued and trained by the Mandalorians, including Din Djarin Pedro Pascalwhose name we hear for the first time in this episode. The city is stacked upon hundreds of levels, each one becoming more dangerous as you descend. Despite the crime that occurs below the surface, Coruscant is probably the safest place in the entire galaxy. Dantooine: A peaceful farming planet, and home to secret Jedi enclave. Much of Dantooine is still uninhabited, and there are dozens of Force sensitive ruins spread out across the planet. Pretty much the only threats on Dantooine are the raiders, the wild animals, and the occasional fallen Jedi. Korriban: The ancient homeworld of the Sith, this planet is deeply entrenched in the dark-side of the Force. Korriban is one big wasteland with only a single small settlement. The Exchange has a small presence on the planet, and the old Sith tombs currently lie undisturbed. Manaan: The entire surface of the planet is one big ocean, and the only terrestrial settlement is the massive artificial island know as Ahto city. Manaan is the Selkath homeworld, and the galaxies sole provider of Kolto, a powerful healing substance. The planet is neutral, but maintains an alliance with the Republic. Telos IV: Telos is a major Republic world, and the headquarters of the Jedi Agricultural Corps. The diverse and fertile environment supports planet wide farming, and both the Republic military and Telos Security Force provide protection for the planet. As a master of the Dark Side of the Force, he was capable of appearing as a shadow, dark and formless. He could even use the force to ensure others would see nothing but blackness beneath his hood. Studies have shown that myth and religious thought played a crucial role in the creation of the Star Wars Universe. This article continues that tradition, albeit from a particular perspective that highlights religious language: by viewing The Mandalorian through a New Testament lens, it is argued that while many elements of popular culture reference Biblical or mythological sources, The Mandalorian’s use of these referents illustrates the way in which ancient religious and New Testament literature are still very much a shared phenomenon. Both The Mandalorian and the New Testament share certain timeless topoi: a mysterious character with extraordinary abilities, a connection to life-giving powers of the universe that give extraordinary abilities, choosing a certain way of life and the costs thereof, and also themes such as “debt”, “redemption”, and “beliefs” and how these are challenged.
