INFRASTRUCTURE

• Airports The State of counts on 3 international airports, located in , and Cancún. The international airport of Cancún is the second most important one of the country due to the number of international flights and national. The main municipalities count on aerodromes that serve in interstate routes.

• Highways 5,069.8 kilometers.

• Ports There are 3 main ports: Port Morelos, Cozumel and Calicaand .

Puerto Morelos and Calica is the more important commercial ports of the State and counts on the infrastructure to handle to discharge lifting capacity. They are located in a strategic zone of the marine traffic, which connects several ports of the United States in the Gulf of , Central America and the Caribbean.

• Industrial Parks The present industrial infrastructure in Quintana Roo constitutes three Industrial Parks that are Port Morelos, Chetumal and Felipe Cheek Port, this sector of the organization presents/displays an ample potential based on the competitive advantages that the State offers that is translated in the existence of raw materials, availability of manual labor and its geographic position.
