Teaching and Research Experience:- 1. Fluid Mechanics 2. Fluid Machines 3. Turbulence 4. Computational Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer The broad area of research is Computational fluid dynamics and heat transfer. The Ph.D. work includes flow analysis through circular duct with inlet and wall swirl. The flow was incompressible, steady and laminar. There were swirl generated at the inlet, wall along with duct rotation about the axis. Detail analysis has been conducted with different distribution of the swirl distributions. In the Post-doctoral work at Nanyangyang Technological University of Singapore under SMA (Singapore-MIT Alliance), multiphase fluid flow and heat transfer along with micro-channel fluid flow with EDL (Electrical Double Layer) effects has been done. The methodology used was the Level-set formulations applicable to combustion, polymer flow, bubble dynamics, free surface deformation in metal melting & solidifications and much other multi-phase flow etc. At present, working in the field of TURBULENCE modeling in fluid flow and heat transfer considering k-e model with non-linear aspects. The streamline curvature and the an-isotropic behavior of the complex flow such as swirling and re-circulatory flows have been considered.
