Netball report We've had a busy week of netball this week. On Tuesday 30th January, all the girls from Year 4 headed off to Polwhele school for a match. The weather wasn't great but the girls’ spirits were high and they were all very keen to be playing their first netball match of the season. The girls all showed a wonderful display of netball. Elizabeth Hewlett and Farrah

Ingham-Dewar were on fire with their shooting and Beth McIntosh and Harriet Smith played some fantastic netball in the centre third. Year 5 pupils become news Well done Year 4s. presenters for a day

The Year 5 girls were all set to play the High Full Story ► School and Polwhele on Wednesday 31st January, but just as we were leaving, we received a call to say the game had been cancelled due to slippery courts at the High

School. The girls were very disappointed as they were all looking forward to an afternoon of matches. We quickly contacted both schools and invited them to come to Truro Prep; Polwhele took up the offer. We had a great game; all the girls from Year 5 played some lovely netball. Anna and Alice Browning both played well , sharing the position of Centre with Celia Gill, making some fantastic interceptions at Goal Defence. A good start to the Netball Season Year 5s.
