Calls for the EU and the Member States to step up their efforts to combat human trafficking and migrant smuggling of children, especially those who are unaccompanied, since they are more exposed to the risks of exploitation and child trafficking; calls on the Member States to effectively implement the ‘Facilitators Package’ to combat the human smugglers’ business model, thus protecting migrant children from exploitation and abuse;
