The Canadian Labour Bibliography/ la Bibliographic du mouvement ouvrier canadien

by/par Marcel Leduc and/et Douglas Vaisey

THERE ARE THREE matters concerning labour bibliography which need to be drawn to the reader's attention. Most important is the addition of Marcel Leduc (Universite de Montreal) to the bibliographic team. In order to improve the coverage of labour literature the editorial board recom mended that a French-Canadian specialist assume responsibility for the fran cophone literature. Followers of the bibliography will note a distinct improvement in coverage of Quebec material. In response to requests for submissions of materials missed in previous bibliographies, Andre LeBlanc, Gregory S. Kealey, and Glen Makahonuk each sent considerable material and critical suggestions. The "Update" section of the bibliography, which will appear in the next issue, is richer for their contributions. Special attention should be drawn to a recent publication by Elizabeth Perry. Bibliography of Masters and Doctoral Theses on Canadian Industrial Relations from 1967 to 1978 (Toronto: Centre for Industrial Relations, Uni versity of Toronto 1981) provides thorough, complete coverage of thesis lit erature with an excellent subject index. It is an essential tool for labour his torians.
