On Tuesday, May 24 the Friends of the North End Branch Library sponsored a Chess Tournament for Children. It was held at the North End Branch, 25 Parmenter Street, Boston. This event was the final program in a series of regular chess workshops which started in the fall and went through the spring. These were funded by the Friends of the North End Branch Library.
