In Year 6s – 11, students exhibited Shana Tova their work at the Arts Showcase ‘Seeing Round Corners’ and in Middle School, the Year 6 Drama students presented performances based on indigenous themes. Parents and grandparents joined in the Year 7 Ballroom Dancing presentation. The Year 8 Film Opening with the Year 4 Dance Festival produced a range of short Show ‘So You Think You Can films. Dance’, Bialik once again celebrated the Arts in our annual Arts festival. The Mazkirut Omanuyot (student leaders) organised a visiting Visiting artist, Chieko Hester, magician as a lunchtime activity worked with all Primary students and the senior students enjoyed on the Paper Plane project, whist visiting comedy writer, Declan Fay. Bialik Stars Light Up The National Theatre ‘Beat’ was the theme of the eighth annual Bialik Rising Intermediate Solo Winner - Jasmine Filer Star singing competition which took place in the beautiful Intermediate Duet Winners - Shoshi Feldman & Natalie National Theatre, St Kilda. Performing to a full house of over Kontrobarsky 600 people, the singers were well supported by a talented pool of student musicians, backing vocalists and student Intermediate Group Winners - Sophia Benn, Madison Rogers, technical crew. Mia Vardi & Monique Zohar We were honoured to have guest adjudicators, Megan Senior Solo Winner - Jordan Kaplan Papworth, Robert Varno and Rita Satch all of whom attested Senior Duet Winners to the exceptionally high vocal standard, which made their - Yael Meltzer & Ellie task a difficult one. This state-of-the art facility warmly welcomes children as young as 3 months through to 3 years to the inclusive, nurturing community. We encourage all to come and have a look.
