Schedule highlights All on-ice workouts, including the team scrimmage and the 3-on-3 tournament, are open to the public. On-ice training, a full team scrimmage or the 3-on-3 tournament will take place on six of the camp’s seven days, with the first on-ice session scheduled to take place on Tuesday, June 27, at 1:30 p.m. at the Bell Sensplex. The annual 3-on-3 tournament will take place at the Bell Sensplex on Monday, July 3, at 9:30 a.m. Two separate (indoor and outdoor) team-building events during the afternoon of Saturday, July 1. Off-ice strength and conditioning workouts. A specialized sport nutrition seminar held by nutrition specialist Molly Morgan. A vision training session for goaltenders at the Amped Sports Lab and Ice Complex (a certified Dynamic Edge Sports Vision Training facility) which is located on Leitrim Road in Ottawa. Planning for success, sleep and sport psychology seminars. Position specific video meetings and on-ice sessions.     2016 Inductees Norm Schmidt – Player Defenseman Norm Schmidt had an impressive junior career with the Soo Greyhounds and Oshawa Generals in the early 80’s where he accumulated 168 points in three junior seasons. His amateur career was capped off and highlighted by reaching the Memorial Cup finals in 1983. Known for being a gifted playmaker, Schmidt was drafted 70th over by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1981 and split his professional playing time for four seasons between the AHL's Baltimore Skipjacks and the NHL’s Pens playing in 125 games. Dan Cloutier‐ Player Goaltender Dan Cloutier played junior hockey in the OHL for four seasons with the Soo Greyhounds and Guelph Storm, His impressive junior career resume includes being a member of the Greyhound 1993 Memorial Cup championship team and playing three games for Team Canada's gold medal winning squad at the 1995 World Junior Championships. Following his second OHL season, he was selected 26th overall by the Rangers in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft. In his 10‐year NHL career, Cloutier played with the New York Rangers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Vancouver Canucks and Los Angeles Kings, spending the majority of his career in Vancouver where he recorded three consecutive 30‐win seasons between 2001–02 and 2003–04. Following his retirement, he has switched roles to behind the bench and is currently serving as the director of goaltending for the Vancouver Canucks. Dennis Vial ‐ Player Defenseman Dennis Vial spent 4 years in the OHL playing for the Hamilton Steelhawks. He was drafted 110th overall by the New York Rangers in 1988.
