Please liaise with a member of the team’s communications staff for more information. Schedule highlights All on-ice workouts, including the team scrimmage and the 3-on-3 tournament, are open to the public. On-ice training, a full team scrimmage or the 3-on-3 tournament will take place on six of the camp’s seven days, with the first on-ice session scheduled to take place on Tuesday, June 27, at 1:30 p.m. at the Bell Sensplex. The annual 3-on-3 tournament will take place at the Bell Sensplex on Monday, July 3, at 9:30 a.m. Two separate (indoor and outdoor) team-building events during the afternoon of Saturday, July 1. Off-ice strength and conditioning workouts. A specialized sport nutrition seminar held by nutrition specialist Molly Morgan. A vision training session for goaltenders at the Amped Sports Lab and Ice Complex (a certified Dynamic Edge Sports Vision Training facility) which is located on Leitrim Road in Ottawa. Planning for success, sleep and sport psychology seminars. Position specific video meetings and on-ice sessions. Player highlights Returning players: Twenty-two (22) players attended the Senators development camp in 2016. Draft picks: Twenty-four (24) of the 40 players attending are Senators draft picks and four were selected in the first round. Pro experience: Ten (10) players saw AHL action in 2016-17 with the Binghamton Senators. Thomas Chabot, Andreas Englund, Nick Paul and Colin White saw playing time in the NHL with Ottawa.
