Your Guide to Ringette in the Interlake

Ringette is one of those unique sports that is truly life-long and all inclusive for females of all abilities. The rules and culture fosters positive aspects such as good sportsmanship, team play and skill development. On top of these positive attributes, it’s a fast and very exciting game to watch and play.
Our family found ringette has provided not only the typical benefits sports provide, but also life lessons such as the value of teamwork, perseverance in overcoming challenges, how to win and lose gracefully and the importance of practice and working hard. It has provided our daughters opportunities to play at the level that fits each of them individually (AA, A and B), and also allowed them to give back to the sport in various roles such as coach, referee and instructor.
I encourage you to take some time to read through this handout and come watch a game or attend a Come Try Ringette event and I guarantee you will be pleasantly surprised.
