FOOTBALL UNIVERSITY EXPERIENCE Where Great Athletes Become Great Football Players , BY PROFESSIONALS, BY INVITAT SITION ION O PO NLY BY . FOOTBALL UNIVERSITY EXPERIENCE WhERE great athLETES BECOmE great FOOTBALL players MAXIMUM COLLEGE EXPOSURE TO 400 COLLEGE FOOTBALL PROGRAMS “RUSh TO ThE NFL: ThESE gUYS SCREEN PROS OF TOmORROW” - ThE WALL STREET JOURNAL, ON SPORTSLINk, PROdUCERS OF FOOTBALL UNIVERSITY. FOOTBALL UNIVERSITY Football University was started by the creators of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on NBC, which annually showcases the nation’s top preps such as Adrian Peterson, Joe Thomas, Tommie Harris, Reggie Bush and Tim Tebow. The founders realized three things: existing national camps were not servicing elite athlete with elite instruction; combines tested physical ability; not football ability, and college coaches were looking for better methods to evaluate an athlete’s “football ability”. In response, the FBU founders built a network of trusted high school coaches and scouts who could identify the top 300 prep athletes in 30 regions. They then found the best instructors from the NFL ranks at every position who could teach an elite curriculum. At the quarterback position alone, our instructors have privately trained Eli Manning, Tony Romo, Tom Brady and Matt Ryan, the top quarterback chosen in the 2008 NFL Draft. The three-day experience features 14 hours of one-of-a-kind instruction and meaningful college exposure for the nation’s top preps. The experience includes on-field and off-field instruction, technique drills, film study, classroom testing, and access to hi-definition video football analysis allowing every athlete and instructor to observe technique at 500 frames per second. Every athlete also receives a private technical and performance evaluation by his NFL instructor and Athletic Republic. After two years, FBU has trained more than 2,500 of the nation’s top athletes including hundreds of Division I scholarship athletes and U.S. Army All-Americans, including 2009 top rated prep and U.S. Army Bowl MVP, Terrelle Pryor. YEAR-END ‘TOP GUN’ FOR TOP 80 PROSPECTS PER CLASS After its 30 city season, FBU will invite, by class, the nation’s best prep talent to its “Top Gun” facility outside Orlando, Florida. For three days, all athletes will be housed on-campus at a state of the art 90-acre NFL-style football training complex that features Bermuda grass fields, indoor turf, a speed and strength center, on-site chef, nutritionist, trainer, and large screen televisions. This showcase for the nation’s best will be more competitive than instructional. Only invited national media and recruiting experts will be in attendance. MAXIMUM COLLEGE EXPOSURE FBU will also provide the most college exposure to its prep athletes. Every athlete will receive his own Rivals.com football profile. Rivals.com is the leading name in college football recruiting. Through the Forbes Report, FBU athletes will have their FBU video profile sent to a maximum of 400 colleges. Each profile will include commentary on the athlete’s ability by FBU’s expert NFL instructors. In addition, the one-on-one competition will be available via web cast to hundreds of college coaches, who can now evaluate “football movement and ability” against other top athletes. This will provide coaches with a deeper insight on football ability versus a highlight reel or game tape against inferior competition. SELECTION PROCESS FBU looks to train athletes who consider football a primary sport, have demonstrated elite ability, wish to play at the college level, and have been identified by a regional FBU scout. If an athlete has not been identified by an FBU regional scout and desires to attend FBU, nominations may be submitted at www.footballuniversity.org and every athlete will be interviewed for admission. We understand that many athletes develop late, switch position, or play on teams that receive less exposure.
