14th Annual THE MASTERS CALCUTTA at Brook-Lea CC Date: Wednesday, April 4th Time: 7:00 PM Place: Windsor Room JOIN IN THE ACTION AND AUCTION VIEW SUBSEQUENT PAGES FOR DETAILS 14th Annual THE MASTERS CALCUTTA At Brook-Lea The 2018 Masters Invitational Tournament held in Augusta begins on Thursday, April 5th. On Wednesday evening, April 4th, an auction of all the players in the Masters field will be held at Brook-Lea Country Club. The auction is open to all Brook-Lea members and their guests. One hundred percent of the proceeds of the auction will be paid out to the owners of the top 25 players and ties. The specifics: Date: Wednesday, April 4th, 2018 Time: 7:00 PM Place: Windsor Room Calcutta Method: -Lists of players in the Masters will be available and displayed at the auction. -The players’ names will be placed in a hat. Names will be randomly drawn. -Each player will be auctioned as the name is drawn. -The person who has the highest bid will own that player for the tournament. -After every 10 names drawn there will be a “wild card” auction where the highest bidder can select any undrawn name. -The group of Past Senior Masters Champions will be drawn and sold as a single player and the group of Amateurs will be drawn and sold as a single player. -A bidder can own more than one player. -All payments will be settled on Wednesday th April 11 . Checks are preferred method of payment. NO PAYMENTS WILL BE TAKEN THE NIGHT OF THE CALCUTTA. -If a player does not show up for his tee time on the first day, the bid amount will be returned to the owner of the bid. -Once a player tees off the first day, the player is considered in the field of play and there are no bid refunds for players who subsequently drop out due to injury, missed tee times, disqualification due to rules infraction or any other events that may cause the player not to finish the tournament. -All payments to the top 25 winners will be made available at the club after Wednesday, April 11th. -All payouts rounded to nearest whole dollar. -Percentage payouts by place of finish are outlined on the following page.
