Press Note Dehradun, Dt. 06 february, 2014 Interacting informally with media persons at the Vidhan Sabha on Wednesday, Chief Minister asserted that the 2014-15 Budget would provide pace to development in the state. “We have made the attempt to associate the projects with employment generation,” he declared. “Relief is being provided to the deprived sections. A new direction and thinking has been imparted to development efforts in the state. Emphasis has been given on sustained and comprehensive development.” He further said that at the demand of the youth, application forms for class 3 jobs would be provided free as before. Uttarakhand would also be the country’s first state where small and marginal farmers above the age of 60 years involved in agriculture would be provided pension. The Chief Minister congratulated Dr for presenting ‘an excellent budget’. Dehradun, Dt. 06 february, 2014 On reaching the Vidhan Sabha, the temple of democracy, for the first time after taking over as the Chief Minister of the state, Harish Rawat, came down from his vehicle and bowed down his head with respect to seek blessings. He was in Vidhan Sabha to attend the budget session. He waited for the speaker Govind Singh Kunjwal at the porch area and welcomed him with bouquet. He also greeted Ansuiya Prasad Maikhuri. The Chief Minister also called on the leader of the opposition Ajay Bhatt. On finding Harish Rawat in his office, Bhatt offered him warm welcomed. CM also welcomed BSP Minister Haridas in his cabin.
