1 SOFTWARE CorrTest® software provides users a versatile smoothing/differential/ integration kit, which can complete the calculation of peak height, peak area and peak potential of CV curves. CorrTest® kit also provide powerful non-linear fitting on Butler-Volmer equation of polarization curve. It can calculate Tafel slope, corrosion current density, limitation current, polarization resistance, corrosion rate. It can also calculate the power spectrum density, noise resistance and noise spectrum resistance based on the electrochemical noise measurements. CorrTest® kit has a built-in versatile timing policy for combined measurements, which can facilitate the automation of experiments and save time.
2 TECHNICAL FEATURES 1. Impedance (EIS) CS workstation applies dual-channel sampling technique, and has strong ability of anti-interference. It is particularly suitable for AC impedance measurement of high resistance system (>109Ω, such as coating, concrete etc.). It can also be used to plot Mott-Schottky curve and differential capacitance curve. The software can achieve real-time display of OCP.

2. Polarization curve It can measure linear polarization curve and Tafel curve. The user can set the anodic reversing current (passivation film breakdown current) of the cyclic polarization curve, in order to determine material’s pitting potential and protection potential, and evaluate the susceptibility to inter-granular corrosion. The software uses non-linear fitting algorithm to analyze polarization curve, and can make fast evaluation for materials’ anti-corrosion ability and corrosion inhibitor’s performance.
3. Voltammetry It can do the following electro-analysis methods: Linear Sweep Voltammetry (LSV), Cyclic Voltammetry (CV), Staircase Cyclic Voltammetry (SCV), Square wave voltammetry (SWV), Differential Pulse Voltammetry (DPV), AC voltammetry (ACV), Stripping voltammetry etc. It can also calculate the integrated peak area, peak current and analyze standard curve.

0.4 mol/L KCl(100mV/s) 0.5 mol/L H2SO4 (50 mV/s)
4. Electrochemical Noise With high-resistance follower and zero-resistance ammeter, it measures the spontaneous fluctuation of potential/current in corrosion system. It can be used to study local corrosions such as pitting, galvanic corrosion, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Through noise spectrum, it can evaluate the cause, grow and death of some metastable pitting and cracking. Based on calculation of noise resistance and pitting index, it can do local corrosion monitoring.
Electrochemical noise of low-carbon steel in 0.05mol/L - 5. Power expansion Cl +0.1mol/L NaHCO3 For CS workstation, the current control range is ±2.0A, and compliance voltage is ±21V. It can meet needs of the following fields: charge and discharge of fuel battery and high-power battery, electrolysis and electrodeposition etc. Using special power expander, the maximum current output can be up to ±5A, and compliance voltage is expandable to ±200V. 6. Full floating measurement CS workstation uses full-floating working electrode. It can be used in autoclave electrochemical test (autoclave body is grounded), on-line corrosion study of metallic components in the earth (bridge, concrete steel, etc.) 7. User-defined methods The user can set timing measurements to circularly proceed a certain test method or multiple methods. It’s suitable for unattended auto timing measurements.
